The Los Angeles Galaxy singed goalkeeper Josh Saunders, defenders A.J. DeLaGarza and Yohance Marshall, and midfielder Kyle Patterson to contracts on Thursday.

Saunders in the only player of the four with MLS experience, albeit very limited experience, having played in only three matches during the 2008 Galaxy campaign.

The other three signings are all rookies heading into the 2009 season. DeLaGarza was L.A.'s second-round pick in the January draft and comes to the club with a championship pedigree as a two-time College Cup champion.

Patterson was a fourth-round draft pick in January after a stellar college career at St. Louis University, while Marshall came to L.A. as an undrafted rookie out of the University of South Florida.

The four signings will be available for L.A.'s season opener on March 22. The transaction leaves former U.S. national-team star Tony Sanneh as the only unsigned member of the Galaxy's preseason 25-man roster.
