AC Milan's latest signing, Oguchi Onyewu, has successfully completed his medical, according to the Web site MilanNews.it.

The center back signed for the Rossoneri on a free transfer after five years with Belgian outfit Standard Liege and has passed his medical examination with flying colors.

He will now join up with his teammates ahead of their preseason tour of the United States, where they will play the L.A. Galaxy, Club America, Chelsea and city rival Inter.

Onyewu has been the Rossoneri's only significant signing thus far in the summer of 2009 and just gave a simple, "Thank you very much," to the Italian journalists present as he left the clinic.

The 27-year-old recently gained plenty of exposure at the Confederations Cup, as the U.S. made it to the final before losing 3-2 to Brazil in an exciting encounter in Johannesburg.
