Dallas deals D Moor to Colorado for D Ihemelu

FC Dallas has sent defender Drew Moor, allocation money and a second-round pick in the 2010 Major League Soccer SuperDraft to the Colorado Rapids for defender Ugo Ihemelu.

Moor, 25, has spent his entire professional career with Dallas, which drafted him sixth overall in the 2005 SuperDraft.

Ihemelu, 26, is reunited with his college coach, Shellas Hyndman. He joined MLS one pick ahead of Moor in the same year, linking up with the Los Angeles Galaxy, with whom he won the MLS Cup in his rookie year. In 2007 he moved to Colorado.

"Ugo Ihemelu is a talented player with tremendous speed that will be a key member of our back line," Dallas head coach Hyndman said in a statement. "In my time here, we haven't had that natural right back we have needed and we believe Ugo will provide that for us moving forward." --Goal.com
