U.S. midfielder Peterlin set to join Plymouth

Former Everton midfielder Anton Peterlin is set to join Plymouth on a one-year deal, subject to passing a medical. The 23-year-old California-born midfielder was released by Everton in June and has been training with Plymouth over the summer.

During his time at Goodison Park, Peterlin never made a first-team appearance. However, he has featured in all of Plymouth's preseason friendlies and has impressed the club's new manager Peter Reid.
