TURIN, Italy (Reuters) -- Juventus coach Luigi Del Neri has been sacked and will leave after Sunday's final game of the season against Napoli, he said on Saturday.

"The club told me of their decision during the week," Del Neri told a news conference.

Once mighty Juve have suffered a second straight season of woe and are currently seventh in Serie A with only an outside chance of a Europa League League spot.

Former Juve midfielder Antonio Conte, who led Siena to promotion to Serie A this term, is the bookmakers' favourite to take over.
