Ryan Johnson scored late to make things interesting, but Portland couldn't find an equalizer in a 2-1 loss.

The Montreal Impact completed a shocked six-point road swing Saturday night, defeating the Portland Timbers 2-1 at Jeld-Wen field just one week after scoring a 1-0 upset at Seattle.

The Impact had one of the league's worst road records in 2012, but that didn't appear to faze the Canadian side last week nor on Saturday, with Hassoun Camara putting the visitors up in the 30th minute with an acrobatic bicycle kick goal.

Montreal would carry the lead into halftime, but the Timbers looked a better side after the break. The home side pushed numbers forward in search of an equalizing goal, but the strategy backfired when Montreal surged back to score their second. Andres Romero took advantage of a high Portland backline in latching on to a nice through ball from midfield, before cutting it back in front of goal. Felipe was there, all too willing to double the visitor's advantage.

Portland forward Ryan Johnson made things interesting late on with a finish of his own, and Portland had several good chances to even the score in the closing minutes the the game. However, it wasn't to be for the men in green, who will now have to turn their focus to their Cascadia Cup rivalry match with Seattle next weekend. Montreal will have a rivalry match of their own that Saturday, when they host fellow Canadians Toronto FC.
