Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid play Dortmund in their first leg on Wednesday.

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho remains coy on his future, saying on Friday he will decide what comes next in his storied career at the end of the season.

Mourinho said he would then "sit down'' with Madrid club president Florentino Perez and "take the best decision for all.''

The Portuguese coach has a contract with Madrid for another three seasons to 2016.

"I have said that my relationship with the president and other board members is very good and that allows us to sit down and analyze things in a calm manner to decide what is best for Madrid,'' Mourinho said. "The important thing is to reach the final of the Champions League, beat Betis, and win the Copa del Rey final.

"Afterward, we will take a decision that is good for all. Without the day-to-day pressures and pressure to get results, we will arrive to conclusions.''

Madrid plays Real Betis on Saturday 13 points behind Barcelona in the Spanish league, which concludes in the first weekend in June. Madrid hosts Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey final on May 17.

Mourinho has already acknowledged that the domestic title defense is lost and that the team's focus is on adding to Madrid's record nine European Cups.

Madrid travels to Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday for the first leg of their semifinal series in the Champions League.

Mourinho has been linked to moves to several major clubs.

Before taking over at Madrid in 2010, the 50-year-old Mourinho coached Inter Milan, Chelsea and FC Porto. He has won one Spanish league and one Copa del Rey with Madrid.
