MUNICH (AP) -France winger Franck Ribery and veteran Belgium defender Daniel van Buyten have extended their contracts with Champions League winner Bayern Munich.

Bayern says Ribery's new deal ties him to the club until 2017. Ribery arrived in 2007 from Marseille and says the club and city of Munich "have become a new homeland for me and my family.''

Ribery is coming off his perhaps best season with Bayern, helping the club complete the treble of Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League titles.

The 35-year-old van Buyten extended his contract until the end of next season.
