LONDON (AP) -- Arsenal has loaned out defender Johan Djourou and midfielder Francis Coquelin on season-long deals to Bundesliga teams.

Djourou, a 26-year-old Switzerland international, has gone to Hamburg, while Coquelin, a 22-year-old former France Under-21 player, has been taken by Freiburg.

Djourou spent the second half of last season at Hannover.
