Monaco's Layvin Kurzawa celebrates his game-winning goal against Reims on Friday.

PARIS (AP) - Defender Layvin Kurzawa continued his scoring form with a goal five minutes into injury time as Monaco scraped a 3-2 home win against Reims in the French league on Friday.

The win puts Monaco provisionally two points behind leader Paris Saint-Germain, which plays at Toulouse on Sunday.

After Reims defender Aissa Mandi was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle on Kurzawa, the left back grabbed his fifth goal in the past nine games, showing a striker's reflexes to turn in a loose ball after Colombia winger James Rodriguez's shot hit the post.

Monaco had twice taken the lead, first through forward Valere Germain and then midfielder Jeremy Toulalan, but Reims midfielder Prince Oniangue replied twice for seventh-place Reims to take his season's tally to seven league goals.

''I'm very pleased with the determination shown by my players and the way they kept going,'' Monaco coach Claudio Ranieri said. ''Reims didn't deserve to lose. Now we just need to analyze what we did well and not so well.''
