Netherlands Men's National Team

The Netherlands men's national team finished in third place at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. They won all three of their group games to advance to the Round of 16, where they defeated Mexico 2-1. The Netherlands then won their quarterfinal game over Costa Rica in penalty kicks before falling to Argentina in the semifinals, also on penalty kicks. A 3-0 victory over Brazil gave the Dutch a third-place finish at the Cup. 

Robin van Persie led the team in Brazil with four goals, while Arjen Robben added three. Daley Blind paced the team with three assists.
