United States Men's National Team

The United States men's national team reached the Round of 16 during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, where they finished 1-2-1, their lone victory over Ghana. They were eliminated after a 2-1 overtime loss to Belgium on July 1.

Their leading goal scorer at the World Cup was Clint Dempsey, who finished with two goals. Jermaine Jones, Julian Green and John Brooks also scored. They were led in assists by Graham Zusi, who had two.
