Galatasaray S.K.

Galatasaray finished in second place in the Spor Toto Super Lig in the 2013/2014 season, totaling 65 points. After former manager Roberto Mancini resigned, the club named named Cesare Prandelli as its next manager.

Prandelli managed the Italian team during the World Cup but resigned after its 1-0 loss to Uruguay. Italy finished third in Group D, failing to qualify for the knockout stage for the second straight World Cup after winning it all in 2006.
