Liverpool center back Kolo Toure found himself on the highlight reel for the wrong reason Wednesday, bundling home an own goal to let Fulham take an early lead before the Reds stormed back to take a last-gasp 3-2 win at Craven Cottage. While Liverpool's two one-goal comebacks and Steven Gerrard's great assist and last-minute, game-winning penalty were the emerging takeaways from the game, Toure's opening folly should not be forgotten.
While it was quite bad, though, was Toure's own goal even the most spectacular in Europe in the last week? Real Sociedad goalkeeper Enaut Zubikarai turned in one for the ages in the club's first leg of its Copa del Rey semifinal against Barcelona last Wednesday (although in his defense, he knew very little about the ball that was being fired off his chest and into his goal.
