Atletico Madrid lost Radamel Falcao to Monaco in the offseason, the latest big name to bolt Estadio Vicente Calderon for greener (as in $$cha-ching$$ greener) pastures, following in the footsteps of Fernando Torres, Diego Forlan and Sergio Aguero.

So naturally, the club has found a way to be within reach of both the Spanish league and UEFA Champions League titles, potentially leaving Barcelona and Real Madrid in its wake en route to what would be the most improbable of trophy doubles.

Despite going behind after Fernando Torres' 36th-minute strike on Wednesday, Diego Simeone's side stayed composed and overwhelmed Chelsea's back line from that point forward, getting goals from Adrian Lopez, Diego Costa and Arda Turan to seal an all-Madrid Champions League final.

Atletico now faces the very real possibility of playing for the Spanish league crown in its season finale on May 17 at Barcelona, and then vying for European supremacy in Lisbon a week later against its city rival. Here's how Atleti battled back to eliminate Jose Mourinho's Chelsea and keep its dream season alive (video via Fox Soccer):
