The U.S. men's national team built on its 2-0 win over Azerbaijan on Tuesday with a more telling 2-1 win over Turkey on Sunday at a sold-out Red Bull Arena. Fabian Johnson and Clint Dempsey scored the goals that gave the USA the win, but the result did not come without more questions about the stability of the back line, as the Americans conceded a number of great chances to the visitors.

With World Cup foes Ghana, Portugal and Germany a cut above Turkey, the performance leaves room for improvement with just one pre-World Cup friendly -- Saturday vs. Nigeria in Jacksonville, Fla. -- remaining. Here's how the action all played out:
