After breaking Dempsey's nose, Ghana's Boye bloodies Muller's face

Germany's Thomas Muller, left on ground, and Ghana's John Boye feel the effects of their collision late in Saturday's 2-2 draw.

John Boye's World Cup has been chock full of insult and injury.

The Ghana center back was torched by Clint Dempsey 30 seconds into the USA's 2-1 win over Ghana. He then exacted a measure of revenge by taking his boot to Dempsey's face, breaking the U.S. captain's nose in the process (John Brooks had the ultimate final say, beating, you guessed it, Boye, to Graham Zusi's corner kick for the game-winning header).

As it turns out, Boye wasn't done clearing out opponents' top scorers. Next up on his list of (probably inadvertent, let's be fair here) destruction: Thomas Muller, Germany's hat-trick hero against Portugal.

In the waning moments of Ghana's thrilling 2-2 draw with Germany, Boye bloodied Muller's face in a nasty head-to-shoulder collision that left both men sprawled on the ground after the final whistle.

Assuming the already-hobbled Cristiano Ronaldo gets through Sunday's game against the USA, he might want to ramp up his awareness of Boye's whereabouts in the Portugal-Ghana Group G finale.
