Erik Lamela can sleep easy tonight know that he'll surely be among the finalists for FIFA's Puskas Award for goal of the year.

Lamela, Tottenham's Argentine midfielder, scored on an outrageous rabona from outside the box against Asteras Tripolis to give Spurs a 2-0 lead in their Europa League group game. Lamela approached the loose ball, sitting just outside the top of the box, from the left, and had the option to strike it with his right foot. But why do that when he could wrap his left foot around his right to curl home the stunner and extend Tottenham's lead and make every highlight reel around the world in the process?
