The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to sign free agent small forward Wes Johnson to a one-year contract worth $1 million, according to ESPN’s Chris Broussard.

Johnson, 27, averaged a career-high 9.1 points and 4.4 rebounds in 77 games for the Lakers last season.

Drafted No. 4 overall by Minnesota in 2010, Johnson was traded to Phoenix in July 2012 and signed with the Lakers in free agency last summer.

This offseason, Los Angeles also agreed to deals with wings Xavier Henry and Nick Young.

The Lakers won 27 games and missed the playoffs last season.
