Throwback Thursday: Juliana Martins

Juliana Martins SI Swimsuit 2003
Swim Daily brings you back to Juliana Martins' SI Swimsuit 2003 shoot.

It's always a treat when a former model happens to celebrate their birthday on a Thursday - as it makes it our selection for Throwback Thursday an easy one. Such is the case with Juliana Martins, who is celebrating her 29th birthday today. The brunette has been called the "Brazilian Cindy Crawford" for her comparison to the legendary model. Martins got her start at age 13 when she won an Elite Model Look Contest and has since modeled for Ralph Lauren, Bruno Magli, Armani, Blumarine and Emmanuel Ungaro in addition to SI. In this video from her lone SI Swimsuit shoot in 2003, Martins rides a number of inflatable animals including a dragon and octopus, then goes to a nightclub for a 3 a.m. photo shoot.
