LONDON (AP) -- Bob and Mike Bryan failed to reach the semifinals of the season-ending ATP finals for the first time in five years after losing their final group-stage match on Saturday.

The top-seeded American twins lost to Leander Paes of India and Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic 6-4, 6-7 (6), 10-7 after a Champions tiebreaker to finish round-robin play with a 1-2 record.

Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez then beat Aisam Qureshi and Jean-Julien Rojer to secure a spot in the semifinals from Group A, along with Paes and Stepanek.

The Bryan brothers are three-time champions at the season-ending event, but have not won the title since 2009.
