Thursday May 21st, 2015

The main draw of the 2015 French Open begins on May 24. Rafael Nadal has won five consecutive French Opens and nine of the last 10, and he'll look to defend his title after a shaky clay season. On the women's side, Maria Sharapova is looking to defend her title after defeating Simona Halep in the final last year.

Despite Nadal's dominance at Roland Garros, Novak Djokovic is considered by many to be the favorite to win this year's tournament. Though the Serb has never won the French Open—the only Grand Slam missing from his trophy case—Djokovic will be the No. 1 seed and will be pegged by many to break through this year. Andy Murray also could be a threat after a strong clay season, though Murray has never made the French Open final.

Sharapova is considered one of the favorites to win the women's side, along with Halep and Serena Williams.

You can live stream the tournament on Watch ESPN, Tennis Channel Live and NBC Sports Live Extra
