In this week's episode of the SI Tennis Beyond the Baseline Podcast, Sports Illustrated executive editor and host Jon Wertheim talks with regular guest Lindsay Davenport.

Before she heads to Melbourne to cover the 2016 Australian Open for Tennis Channel, Davenport joins the podcast to preview the first major of the year. The pair talks about the rash of injuries in the WTA, what it means for the Australian Open and if changes should be made to the WTA and ATP calendars in the future. Davenport also makes predictions for Serena Williams, who has not played a full match since the beginning of the season due to knee inflammation. Davenport and Wertheim also discuss the 2016 Rio Olympics, players' training regimens their picks for the 2016 Australian Open men's and women's winners and more.
