Rafael Nadal cruised by Sam Groth in straight sets at the French Open on Tuesday, and hit a crazy shot in the process.

Up 4–1 in the third set, Nadal raced back for a lob shot from Groth and returned it between the legs, with his back to the net, right by the Aussie.

Nadal is on to the second round after his 6–1, 6–1, 6–1 victory. The fourth-seeded player on the men‘s side will face Facundo Bagnis in the second round.

The 29-year-old is a nine-time French Open champion, but has not won since 2014.
