On this week's episode of the SI Tennis Beyond the Baseline Podcast, Sports Illustrated executive editor and host Jon Wertheim talks with SI.com tennis producer Jamie Lisanti.

Wertheim and Lisanti report from the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York on the first days of action at the 2016 U.S. Open. • MORE BEYOND THE BASELINE: Gigi Fernandez | Venus Williams

Also on the podcast, Wertheim and Lisanti discuss the remaining American men, including Ryan Harrison, who upset No. 5-seed Milos Raonic, and their chances of advancing past the middle weekend.
