Andy Roddick and Terrell Owens

It's been two-and-a-half years since The New York Times first brought attention to the unlikely friendship between Andy Roddick and future Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens.

Since then, Roddick has been a plot point in Owens' hit reality show, while T.O. has been spotted at tennis tournaments around the globe from Miami to Melbourne. Owens even traveled for the Australian Open earlier this year and sat in on ESPN's studio coverage of the tournament.

After T.O. watched one of Roddick's matches from the stands at the Cincinnati Masters last month, decided to ask him to be a part of Open Source. The Bengals receiver agreed this week to tweet the match. Roddick faces Janko Tipsarevic in the second match of tonight's doubleheader, which begins at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Follow @SIOpenSource when Andy takes the court -- 20 minutes after the Kim Clijsters-Sally Peers match -- to follow T.O.'s live commentary of the action.
