Fourth-seeded Venus Williams lasted just six minutes in Friday's third-round match with Andrea Petkovic before retiring with an injury. (AP)

In the hours since Venus Williams' abbreviated third-round loss to Andrea Petkovic, my inbox has been flooded with opinions falling all over the map. I'm curious to see what the tennis vox populi thinks about it.

So complete the following sentence: Venus Williams is ...

a) ... courageous simply for trying to play through her groin injury.

b) ... delusional and/or irresponsible for wrecking an evening session.

c) ... on the fast track to retirement. I have my own opinions but I'm curious to see where the consensus lies. Share your thoughts in the comments below.
