It looks like good buddies Serena Williams and Andy Roddick spent a fun night on the town in New York City on Monday night. No idea what they talked about (or what liquids were consumed during dinner), but Serena took to Twitter to announce that the two would play mixed doubles together in Australia.

It's unclear whether she's referring to the Australian Open or Hopman Cup (an exhibition event in Perth that includes mixed doubles), but if true that would be one entertaining ticket to have. Unless you're an umpire -- $250 just doesn't seem worth it.

It's also worth noting that the two Americans have discussed playing mixed doubles in the 2012 Olympic Games. If that's to happen, the practice in Australia certainly wouldn't hurt.

Incidentally, check out this commercial for Wilson featuring Serena. Practice what you preach, girl.
