ESPN commentator and dashingly accented Aussie Darren "Killer" Cahill celebrated his 46th birthday Sunday. Because it's the 21st century and this is how things are done these days, the congratulatory birthday tweets soon followed.

But what started out as an innocent exercise in wishing the former player and longtime coach a happy birthday took a rather tragic (exciting?!?) turn for the worse (better?!?).
