All those imitations finally paid off for Novak Djokovic's acting career. The world No. 1 is set to make a cameo in “The Expendables 2" -- a sequel to a movie about a team of mercenaries who, well, blow a lot of stuff up. Deadline Hollywood reports that Djokovic will play himself in a brief cameo and has already arrived in Bulgaria, where the movie is filming.

It makes sense that the colorful Djokovic would eventually get a moment on the big screen, but my guess would have put him as side-role in a Katherine Heigl rom-com, not an action flick with a deep cast of badasses such as Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Sly Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jet Li, and Randy Couture.

No luck in finding a trailer for the sequel yet, but I imagine it'll be a lot like the first one. Check out the trailer to the original and some on-court auditions that helped launch Djokovic's acting career below:
