No one knew what to expect when the world's best tennis players stepped back onto the grounds of the All England Club this week to begin their preparations for the Olympics. Thankfully it seems that the wet British weather that forced rain delays and roof closures throughout Wimbledon gave way to some much-needed sunshine. With the sun out, the courts repaired, and the top players somewhat rested, it was a week of fairly relaxed preparation. The players may be wearing colors and the introduction of multi-colored corporate signage may have been jarring, but if there's one thing the All England Club seems to have a tennis-monopoly on, it's peace and tranquility in the midst of chaos.

Enjoy a photo gallery of some of the best pictures from a week of practice under the sun. Soak it in while you can, folks. You never know when the clouds will come. [slideshow]
