While extreme temperatures have plagued much of Australia, it seems the weather in Melbourne has actually been tolerable. That's good news, as most of the top players are already at Melbourne Park finalizing their preparations for next week's Australian Open. It's so cool, in fact, that Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (pictured above) felt compelled to make himself a Snuggie out of ballkids.
Andy Murray: But not so cool as to keep Andy Murray from working on his tan. Some much-needed work on his tan, as it turns out.
Serena Williams: She shrugged off what she calls an "almost flu" and has been a regular on Rod Laver Arena through the week.
Roger Federer: He's aliiiiiiiive! Federer landed in Melbourne late last week and was seen practicing with his old friend Lleyton Hewitt.
Victoria Azarenka: Vika withdrew from Brisbane with a bum toe, but she was back on the court on Monday training hard. And digging for gold, apparently.
Maria Sharapova and coach Thomas Hogstedt: Sharapova headed straight for Melbourne after withdrawing from Brisbane last week. In potentially related news, Grigor Dimitrov lost in the first round of Sydney.
Novak Djokovic: I'm including this picture mainly to give your eyes a break from all that blue. You're welcome!
Venus and Serena Williams: The sisters are finally reunited. Practicing for doubles, perhaps?
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and new coach Roger Rasheed: Here's hoping Tsonga reads his shirt.
