Well this is just great news: Mardy Fish will return to the tour for his first match of the year at the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells next week. Fish, who hasn't played a match since withdrawing from the U.S. Open due to heart-related issues, tweeted the news of his impending return Tuesday.

Fish will also join Novak Djokovic, Pete Sampras and the Bryans at the LA Tennis Challenge, an exhibition held before Indian Wells on March 4.
