Video: Tsonga and Raonic lose track of the score on match point

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. -- Score? Who cares about the score.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga advanced to the quarterfinals of the BNP Paribas Open with a 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 win after Milos Raonic double-faulted on match point, but neither man realized the match was over. The on-court scoreboards in Stadium 2 were down during the match and neither player apparently kept track of the score. Down match point on his own serve, Raonic sent a second serve wide to end the match and both men moved on to play another game. Confusion reigned until Raonic finally realized what happened and walked to the net to shake hands.

"The guy said, 'Game, set, match,' like really quick," Raonic said. "I didn't know it was over."

"I thought I was down 3-5 after that. And then I thought about it, and then I thought it was match. Then I saw Jo wasn't coming up, so I thought, Okay, it's 3-5."

"[There's] supposed to be a screen on court. I don't follow the score."
