Photos: Australian Open Week 1 offbeat moments

Melbourne, AUSTRALIA -- The first week of the Australian Open seemed pretty straightforward for a while (aside from the weather, of course). Through the third round, the top four men's and women's seeds were still alive.

However, Week 1 closed out with a major upset: No. 14 Ana Ivanovic upended the seemingly unbeatable Serena Williams in the fourth round.

The week also brought its share of oddball moments. Here are some of our favorite photos from the weirder moments of the Slam Down Under. (Click to see our fashion hits and fashion misses.)
