Curt Miller joins LA Sparks as assistant coach

LOS ANGELES (AP) The Los Angeles Sparks have hired former Indiana women's coach Curt Miller as an assistant.

Miller had a 32-32 record from 2012-14 with the Hoosiers, with the team earning a berth in the postseason WNIT in his second year. The program had a 6-24 record the year before he took over.

Miller previously coached 11 years at Bowling Green and was an assistant with Colorado State, Syracuse and Cleveland State.

He joins new Sparks coach Brian Agler.
