The Indiana Fever will pay tribute to late Mount St. Joseph basketball player Lauren Hill during their June 14 game against the Chicago Sky, the team announced Thursday.

Hill, 19, died in April after a public 17-month battle with brain cancer. Hill continued playing basketball even while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

The Fever said Hill "touched millions of lives worldwide within the past two years during her fight with brain cancer."

During the game on June 14, Hill's family will be named honorary team captains for the day. A Lauren Hill Indiana Fever jersey will also sit on the bench during game play as a tribute to the late college basketball player.

Last October, Hill scored the first points of the season for Mount St. Joseph.
