Here's a look at all of the head coaches LeBron James has played for.

On Friday, the Cavaliers fired David Blatt after a season and a half as the team's head coach. 

Blatt helped lead the Cavaliers to last year's NBA Finals, where they fell in six games to the Golden State Warriors. At the time of Blatt's firing, Cleveland sat on top of the Eastern Conference with a 30–11 record, 3.5 games ahead of the Toronto Raptors. 

After firing Blatt, the Cavs promoted assistant coach Tyronn Lue to head coach.

As LeBron James's squad starts a new era under Lue, take a look back at all of the head coaches James has played under during his NBA career. 

Paul Silas

Silas became James’s first NBA coach after he was selected in the first round of the 2003 NBA draft. He served as Cleveland’s head coach from 2003–2005, accumulating a record of 69–77. He was fired on March 21, 2005 before the end of the 2004–05 season when the team had a record of 34–30. 

Brendan Malone

’ interim head coach after the firing of Silas. He finished out the 2004–05 season with the Cavs, compiling a record of 18–8.

Mike Brown

Brown was hired as the permanent replacement for Silas in June 2005. In his time as head coach he compiled a record of 272–138. He was fired at the end of the 2009–10 season after the Cavaliers went 61–21 and lost in the conference semifinals.

Erik Spoelstra

accumulated a record of 82–53 before he was fired on Friday. At the time of his firing, the Cavaliers led the Eastern Conference with a 30–11 record.

Tyronn Lue

that he has agreed to a three-year deal with the team. Lue joined Blatt’s staff in 2014.
