Toronto-born rapper Drake took a little break from watching playoff basketball to lint roll his pants while seated courtside during Game 2 between the Raptors and Nets at the Air Canada Centre.

Wait, why? Pet hair? Sweatshirt residue? Some questions are too complicated to be answered simply, but Drake did give his black pants a vigorous scrubbing midway through the first quarter of Tuesday night's action. As half of Twitter joked on Tuesday night, Drake may, in fact, start from the bottom as he so claims.

A longtime Raptors fan, Drake is a regular presence at games. He was even named the franchise's "Global Ambassador" last fall by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment president Tim Leiweke.

"Drake's over there yelling at referees and I hear him but I don't see him," Raptors coach Dwane Casey said before Game 2, according to the Canadian Press. "So my mind is on the court. ... I think it's great for our organization, to get the hype and all that. But I don't get caught up in that."

During the second half, Drake made light of his self-grooming.

"Lint rollers on deck," he wrote on Instagram, alongside a picture of himself.

Polarizing Toronto Mayor Rob Ford was also in attendance at Game 2.

Drake made his presence known during Game 1, when he joined the TSN broadcast to fire off a one-liner in the direction of rapper Jay Z, who used to be a minority owner of the Nets.

"Jay Z is somewhere eating a fondue plate," Drake said. "It's our time. We've got to keep it competitive. This is an ironic matchup."

The relationship between the Raptors and Drake included a "Drake Night" back in January, during which the rapper handled the team's player introductions. There was also some discussion in December that the Raptors might re-brand around the black/gold color scheme of Drake's OVO Sound record label, although nothing has materialized.
