Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson is doubtful for this week's mandatory minicamp following foot surgery in March, according to a report Monday from Nick Underhill of MassLive.com.

The initial timetable for the 22-year-old was two to three months, and he's no longer wearing a boot and is "doing better," according to Underhill. He injured his foot during a Week 12 game versus the Broncos, sat out three games, then aggravated it in the season finale versus the Bills. He returned for the AFC title game versus Denver but had just 21 snaps.

Dobson delayed the surgery with the hope of his foot healing naturally but now it appears that delay may cost him the minicamp this week.  In 12 games his rookie year, he caught 37 yasses for 519 yards and four touchdowns.
