LeBron James on opting out of contract with Heat: 'We'll see what happens'

LeBron James remains uncertain if he'll opt out of the last two years of his deal with the Heat, but he said on Tuesday "a conversation will be had" with teammates Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in the near future.

"There is a conversation that will be had between the three of us — I think that's only right," James said, according to ESPN.com's Michael Wallace. "We've earned that for each other. I don't know what Dwyane right now is thinking. I don't know what Chris is thinking right now. We'll see what happens."

James, 29, met with the coaching staff for his exit interviews on Tuesday and later said he'll take a vacation with his family before deciding his future.

He, Wade and Bosh can all opt out of their contracts later this month. They each have two years and at least $40 million left on their deals, which were signed in 2010.

Since then, they have made four straight Finals appearances, winning two titles.

Wade did not speak to reporters on Tuesday, according to Wallace, but James said he feels "more at ease" entering the process of potential free agency than he did when he left Cleveland.

"I understand what this franchise brings to the table. Like I said, I'm not at that point right now [of deciding]. When I get there, I will be ready to talk about it."
