The NBA rookies are getting some very weird advice

Thursday August 7th, 2014

The NBA held its annual Rookie Transition Program on Thursday, where it has various experts and former players speak to the newly minted star about how life will change now that they are a part of the league.

The New York Times' Sarah Lyall attended the meeting and tweeted some of the more peculiar "advice" being given to the players.

Obviously, these players are from a wide array of backgrounds and are being thrust into a very odd situation, that being said some of these reccomendations seem a little bit obvious, while others are just odd.

And best of all:

Lyall has roughly one million more nuggets of wisdom being passed down to the NBA class of 2014 on her Twitter feed, so head of there if you want to know how many coats a gentleman should own.
