Poland's Stoch gets 2nd ski jump World Cup win of season

WILLINGEN, Germany (AP) Kamil Stoch of Poland won a ski jump World Cup event Friday for his second victory of the season.

The two-time Olympic champion soared 147.5 meters with his first jump and 142.5 with his second for a total of 276.6 points, beating Slovenia's Peter Prevc by 14.3 points. Prevc had jumps of 139 and 144 meters.

Severin Freund produced the longest second jump, 146 meters, to clinch third place after jumping 135.5 with his first. The German finished half a point behind Prevc.

Stefan Kraft still leads the standings after placing seventh. The Austrian has 1,043 points, ahead of Prevc on 1,004 and compatriot Michael Hayboeck on 886.

Stoch, who missed the first nine events, is 11th with 450 points.
