Olympic gold medalist Christensen wins slopestyle event

PARK CITY, Utah (AP) Sochi Olympic gold medalist Joss Christensen saved his best for last to win the men's skiing slopestyle event at the U.S. Grand Prix.

Christensen wasn't even close to making the podium after his first two runs Friday, but scored a 92.00 on the final run to take the top spot.

McRae Williams placed second with a 90.00 on his third run of the day. Gus Kenworthy made it a clean sweep for the United States, placing third with an 89.00 on his last run.

Sweden's Emma Dahlstrom took first on the women's side with a 79.60 on her second run. American Devin Logan (77.60) placed second and Norway's Tiril Sjaastad Christiansen (74.80) rounded out the top three.
