USA Synchro to move its headquarters to Colorado

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) USA Synchro will move its headquarters from Indianapolis to Colorado Springs by year's end to be closer to the Olympic Training Center.

The national governing body for synchronized swimming said Friday the move will give it more interaction with the U.S. Olympic Committee, the training center and 20 other national governing bodies located in Colorado Springs. The city has been a central location for USA Synchro's athletes in training and education.

USA Synchro moved to Indianapolis in 1983 as part of a campaign to grow amateur sports in the city.
