WINTERBERG, Germany (AP) Triple world champion Martins Dukurs of Latvia won his second straight skeleton World Cup race of the season on Friday.

Dukurs also took the opening event last week. He clocked 1 minute, 54.73 seconds for the two runs.

Akel Jungk of Germany and Alexander Tretiakov shared second place, 0.56 seconds behind. Yun Sungbin of South Korea finished fourth, 0.87 seconds behind.

Tina Hermann won her first World Cup race and led a 1-2 finish for Germany in the women's event.

World championship silver medalist Jacqueline Loelling was 0.40 seconds behind in second place.

Jane Channell of Canada was third, 0.88 seconds off the pace, for her first podium finish.

Laura Deas of Britain, winner of the opening race of the World Cup series one week ago, finished fourth, 1.09 seconds behind.

Dukurs tops the overall standings with the maximum total of 450 points from two races. Tretiakov is 30 points behind after two runner-up finishes.

Hermann leads the women's standings with 435 points. Deas is second at 417.
