OBERHOFEN, Switzerland (AP) The International Ski Federation says it has canceled two World Cup races in Germany, forcing more changes in an increasingly warm winter.

FIS says ''warm temperatures, lack of snow and unfavorable weather forecasts'' caused it to cancel the women's giant slalom and slalom races in Ofterschwang on Jan. 16-17.

FIS says it is looking for a replacement venue.

Races in Finland, Germany, Croatia and Austria have been canceled or switched this season in the men's and women's calendar.

The classic men's races in Wengen, Switzerland, on Jan. 15-17 are also affected.

For the first time in 50 World Cup seasons, organizers will run the slalom course on the downhill track to avoid trying to prepare the adjoining slalom hill.
