Richards, Kieffer set world indoor marathon records

NEW YORK (AP) Malcolm Richards and Allie Kieffer set world indoor marathon records Saturday in the Armory NYC Indoor Marathon.

The 33-year-old Richards, from San Francisco, finished in 2 hours, 21 minutes, 55.7 seconds, running 210 laps on the 200-meter track to break Michael Wardian's 2010 mark of 2:27.21 set in Arlington, Virginia,

Kieffer, from New York, finished in 2:44.43.9 to break the women's record of 2:53.53 set by Monika Kalicinska in 2014 in Toronto.
