Bradley starting center Xzavier Taylor sustained a stress fracture in his right foot and will be sidelined for five to six weeks.
Last year as a freshman,Taylor averaged 3.4 points and 3.2 rebounds per game on 52 percent shooting. The 6-foot-9 center appeared in 32 games last season, starting 18 contests.
Bradley coach Geno Ford did not rule out the possibility that Taylor could have surgery, according to the Journal-Star. Ford said the team expects him back in mid-to-late September.
