7-foot-5 Tacko Fall commits to Central Florida

7-foot-5 center Tacko Fall committed to the University of Central Florida on Monday, Jeff Goodman of ESPN reports.

Fall, who Rivals lists as a three-star recruit, also had offers from Georgetown, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest.

Fall plays high school basketball in Tavares, Fla., for Liberty Christian Prep. According to Rivals, he did not start playing basketball until 2012. 

According to CollegeBasketballTalk, Fall joins a recruiting class featuring three-star big man Chad Brown, shooting guard Chance McSpadden and junior college transfer Tanksley Efianayi.

The Knights finished last season 13-18 under head coach Donnie Jones.

Central Florida opens the regular season on Nov. 16 at home against Stetson.
